Michael Jackson’s Son Pens Heartfelt Poem for His Late Father’s Birthday

Michael Jackson’s son, Prince, shared a heartfelt poem to celebrate his late father’s birthday.

To celebrate what would’ve been his 58th birthday, the 19-year-old remembered Michael by sharing a sonnet asking fans to remember the singer for the man that he was and not just the legendary musician. The poem, titled, “The Myth, The Legend, The Man,” honors Michael’s more personal roles as a “son, brother, and father.”

“Today we celebrate the birthday of a legend, but don’t forget to celebrate the Man,” Prince wrote on his social media accounts. “Here is a sonnet written for him.”

Happy birthday to the Man who was more than a legend. I love you.
