Ariana Grande Truly Does Not Care That People Are Sick of Her Ponytail

Ariana Grande, Nick and Joe Jonas Party Together After 2016 MTV VMAs
The festivities continued following the 2016 MTV Video Music Award.

Ariana Grande is just about as well known for her signature ponytail as she is for her powerhouse vocals, but unlike her music, she doesn’t care what you think about her hair.

After opting for yet another ponytail for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Grande said that haters, who are all but begging the singer to try a different hairdo, are just going to have to deal with it. “Shit, you don’t like my ponytail? I’m gonna have it two times bigger tomorrow, and higher, tighter, more hair in there too!” the singer told Byrdie.com “Shit, I’ll crimp it! You ain’t seen a crimp like this in 20 years!”

Grande went on to explain that while it may seem like she’s always wearing the same style, her ponytails feel different every time she wears them and even went as far as to compare them to true love. “I feel like there’s a thousand different ways to do a ponytail. A million!” she insisted. “It brings me so much joy, honestly. Every time I put my hair up, it’s like a surprise. Like, I forget how much I love it, and then I tie it back and I’m like, ‘I love this look! Ooh, girl!’ Every time I tie it up is like the first time. It’s like true love.”

So there you have it, Grande’s ponytail is here to stay.
