WATCH: ‘Stranger Things’ Announces Season Two Renewal with New Teaser

Netflix’s mega-hit Stranger Things was renewed for a second season that will arrive in 2017.

The news was announced on Wednesday (Aug. 31, 2016) via Facebook and comes to the surprise of only that one friend who’s still catching up on Breaking Bad. The series released a trailer for Season Two that teases episode titles including “The Boy Who Came Back to Life” and “The Pumpkin Patch.”

Variety reports that the Duffer Brothers will return for the second season and will serve as executive producers with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen once again. The series will consist of nine episodes as opposed to Season 1’s eight.
