Taylor Swift and Lily Aldridge Enjoy a Girls Night Out in NYC as Late Night TV Mourns the Loss of Hiddleswift

Taylor Swift may have just called it quits with her beau of three months, Tom Hiddleston, but she’s not wasting any time crying into a pint of ice cream.

Last night (Sept. 7, 2016), Swift headed to dinner with a smile on her face as she was joined by Lily Aldridge for a girls night out. Wearing a black shirt paired with a white mini skirt, Swift donned her signature red lip along with her sleek blonde bob and trendy diamond choker.

While Swift enjoyed a low-key dinner with her model BFF, the late night talk show circuit had a field day with the news of her split. Stephen Colbert and James Corden each took a moment on their respective shows to “mourn Hiddleswift.”

Colbert took a page from Swift’s book and penned a song about Hiddleswift and their abrupt demise. “Taylor, Tom and me we were a happy couple of three but now they said goodbye and I just want to cry,” Colbert sang as he strummed along on his guitar. “How could you do this to me? Think of all our memories / Like kissing on that rock or climbing on that rock or walking on that rock / Man, we spent a lot of time on rocks. / And sure I wasn’t there, but Photoshop don’t care.”

Meanwhile, Corden broke the news to his viewers in an emotional opening monologue. “It’s tough. It’s tough when you’ve got to hear this sort of stuff, but it’s my job, so I’m just going to get in there and say it because after a whirlwind three months, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, are ending their relationship.”
