Mel B Confirms Partial Spice Girls Reunion: ‘The Other Two Bitches Didn’t Want to Do It’

After months (years?) of speculation and half-confirmations, Mel B finally confirmed the news that every 90s fangirl has been waiting to hear: there will be a Spice Girls reunion.

But before you go and empty your savings account to buy tickets, there is a little catch. The reunion will only include three of the five ladies as Victoria Beckham and Mel C have decided to sit this one out. “We are going to do something us three (Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell),” Mel B revealed to The Late Late Show host James Corden. “We’re going to perform and celebrate together for the people.”

When Corden asked why the reunion only included three Spice Girls, Mel B joked, “The other two bitches didn’t want to do it!”

But don’t worry, there’s no feud here. “You know Victoria is busy with her great fashion line and Mel C is doing her own album, so they gracefully said, ‘You three go ahead and do it,'” Mel B explained.

As for when we should expect this reunion? The planning is still in the early stages, but Mel B admitted that they will most likely kick things off in London, seeing as they’re a British band.
