Who Snatched Beyoncé’s Trophy at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmys?

Beyoncé, whose visual album for Lemonade was nominated in the variety special category at the 2016 Creative Arts Emmys, did not take home the trophy. This is who we have to blame.

Descend your bee emojis upon James Corden and his delightful Carpool Karaoke primetime special who won the award for Outstanding Variety Special over Beyoncé, Adele, Amy Schumer, and The Kennedy Center Honors. This win for Corden comes just a day after Carpool Karaoke was awarded the trophy for Interactive Program.

Other big winners of Creative Arts Emmys include Game of Thrones, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Saturday Night Live, and RuPaul for the Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program category.
