Here’s What Justin Timberlake Says About Collaborating with Britney Spears

Britney Spears Confesses She Doesn't Listen to Her Own Music
Britney Spears is a certified pop icon, but there's at least one person who doesn't listen to her music: the pop princess herself

Remember when Britney Spears said she’d like to collaborate with her ex-flame Justin Timberlake? Turns out, he’d “absolutely” be up for it.

Spears participated in a fan Q&A for Most Requested Live with Romeo last month and was asked to reveal her dream collaborators. The singer replied, “Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He [Steven Tyler] is a genius, I think. He’s very rock ‘n’ roll. He sings from his soul. Gwen Stefani, I think she’s great.” Then she added, “Justin Timberlake is very good.”

So when E! News caught up with Timberlake on Tuesday (Sept. 13) at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he premiered his Netflix concert documentary Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids, and told him about Spears’ comment, J.T. exclaimed, “She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely.”

Timberlake apologized that he hadn’t heard the news until now. “I have a 17 month old so I don’t get the headline news,” he said. “I apologize for not being in the know… I’m accessible, give us a call!” Can’t stop the feeling!

Even Timberlake’s *NSYNC bud Lance Bass thinks it a great idea. “I would love to see that happen, of course. I think everyone in the world wants to see them together again in any capacity. It’s like everyone’s childhood dream.”

Come on, world, let’s get these two crazy kids into a studio! In the meantime, check out Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids when it premieres Oct. 12 on Netflix.
