Christopher Darden Confirms He and Marcia Clark ‘Were More Than Friends’

Christopher Darden, one of the prosecutors in the O.J. Simpson trial, finally opened up about his relationship with Marcia Clark.

Following years of speculation — and American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson’s award-filled night at the 2016 Emmys — Darden finally admitted that he and his fellow attorney hooked up. “We were more than friends,” Darden told Entertainment Tonight. “We were inseparable back then.”

So is it safe to say that the two found love in a hopeless place during O.J.’s case? Yes, but he insisted that they never kissed, even though he “really can’t remember” the details. “I’m not a kisser. Kissing is intimate. Kissing is more intimate than sex,” Darden, 60, said.

Darden also thought it was really nice of Sarah Paulson, who played Clark on the hit FX series, to take Clark as her date to the Emmy Awards. “I thought that Sarah Paulson taking her to the Emmys was a first class act. I thought that was wonderful,” he said.
