WATCH: Michelle Obama Says You Probably Shouldn’t Make Eye Contact with Beyoncé

Michelle Obama gave us some insight on what her friend Beyoncé is like in real life.

The First Lady joined Stephen Colbert on The Late Show to discuss how her family is planning to move out of the White House, why eating dinner with her presidential husband can be a drag, and how to manage a human encounter with superhuman, Beyoncé Knowles.

“You shouldn’t look her in the eye. She’s a special person,” said Obama.

“She’s a sweetheart. She’s smart, she’s creative, she’s a great mother, she loves her family,” she continued before uttering the biggest understatement of the century.

“I mean, she’s just a low-key lady, so we have a lot in common in that way except I can’t sing, I can’t dance.”

Colbert begged to differ after having seen her dancing talents in her Let’s Move! campaign.

“You can dance. I’ve seen you dance,” he argued.

“Not like Beyoncé,” replied Obama.

Obama later dished on how family dinner at the White House with Barack can turn into an educational lecture if Malia brings up a political topic at the table.

Sasha and I are like, ‘Don’t get him started.’ And he’ll say, ‘Well, I’m glad you asked that. Let me just answer that in three points: One, and then one A, and then one A and B,” said Michelle in her best Barack impression.
