Drake Drops Short Film ‘Please Forgive Me’ as ‘Views’ Breaks Streaming Record on Apple Music

As promised, Drake dropped his short film, Please Forgive Me, so he really has no reason to apologize.

Based on ViewsDrake’s latest album, Please Forgive Me is a 23-minute, “action-packed” film that is now available as an Apple Music exclusive. The project was originally set to drop on Sept. 30 but dropped instead at 1 a.m. EST on Monday, Sept. 26.

Drake stars in the film, which features an original soundtrack music by Noah “40” Shebib, alongside Popcaan, Fanny Neguesha, and others. Billboard describes it as “a mix of Indecent ProposalThe Bourne Identity, and Taken.

Please Forgive Me was directed by Anthony Mandler, who also directed several of Drake’s other music videos including “Over,” “Miss Me,” and “Fancy.” A source confirms that it will remain an Apple exclusive, so go ahead and activate that free three-month subscription with your college email if you wish to view it.

Drake also announced on Monday (Sept. 26) that Views is the first LP to hit one billion streams on Apple Music. He revealed his achievement on Instagram in the following posts:
