Elle Macpherson Regrets Her ‘Friends’ Role

Friends may be one of the most iconic shows in television history, but that doesn’t mean Elle Macpherson likes seeing herself on the hit NBC series. According to the model, who had a five-episode stint as Matt LeBlanc’s love interest, she wouldn’t have signed onto the show had she known how popular it would be decades later.

“If I’d known how important it was in the U.S., or how long it would be on TV, I may not have chosen to do it,” she told Australia’s TV Week. “It was a lot of pressure if you look at it in the way that it will be around for 20 or 30 years.”

Macpherson, known as “The Body” in the modeling world, added that she was invited back to reprise her role, but eventually declined because she was “living in London” at the time and couldn’t fit the filming into her schedule.

However, Macpherson had nothing bad to say about her co-star. Speaking about LeBlanc, she called the actor a “great working partner.”

“Good kisser,” she told The Morning Show earlier this month.

Recently, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox revisited their own roots by playing a Friends trivia game on Celebrity Name Game. Needless to say, they nailed it and had no regrets doing so.
