Emily Blunt Calls John Krasinski Her ‘Perfect Man’

As A-list couples continue to break up, it seems John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are stronger than ever. The husband-and-wife duo, who welcomed their second child this summer, are still making things work after six years of marriage, which is a pretty long time by Hollywood’s standards.

He is my perfect man, you know, he is funny and warm and bright and confident and a sort of emboldening person to be around,” Blunt tells Entertainment Tonight.

“I think it depends on your idea of perfection,” she explains. “It shouldn’t be an ethereal thing that you can’t reach. I think that everyone’s version of perfect is different.”

For Blunt, she loves that Krasinski is the kind of that who can “do anything” for his kids, saying that The Office alum is “so much more adventurous” than she is when it comes to parenting.

“[He will] throw Hazel on the back of a bike and take off somewhere and go on some crazy adventure. He is so hands-on and so committed,” she gushes.

The British actress adds that she hopes to pass on some family traditions her daughters, Hazel and Violet. Though she’s currently busy promoting her new movie, The Girl on the Train, Blunt wants to one day be able to have weekly family dinners with her girls.

“Right now I have a 2-year-old, who is a little bit of a fussy eater, so it’s not like I can cook the same thing for her that we would eat. But my plan is to do [what we did] growing up, which was that every Sunday we would do a Sunday roast – cook it all day, then eat it around 4pm or 5pm,” she says. “It was such a tradition that we all looked forward to.”
