Here’s Where Angelina Jolie Is Staying Amid Her Divorce with Brad Pitt

Is Angelina Jolie Launching a Smear Campaign Against Brad Pitt?
Here’s the latest on the dissolution of Brangelina.

Angelina Jolie’s post-split crash pad is anything but shabby. As her lawyer continue to privately deliberate with Brad Pitt’s attorney over their divorce proceedings, the mom-of-six has set up camp at a heavily fortified Malibu beach house.

Like the Los Feliz, Calif. compound she once shared with Pitt, the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom seaside escape provides maximum privacy for a celebrity looking to get away from prying eyes. Bought by X-Men director Bryan Singer in 2010 for $8.1 million, the 4,409-square-foot residence sits behind a large gate and private driveway while the entire lot is surrounded by a shady thicket of trees and lush tropical greenery.

Featuring zen-like sliding doors, vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and views of the ocean, the main house boasts a spacious living and dining room separated by a double-sided fireplace, a state-of-the-art kitchen with a covered dining terrace, a home theater, and a fully equipped fitness room.

Outside, there sits a separate guesthouse perfect for Jolie’s around-the-clock security team, a heated pool with hot tub, a fire pit, a barbecue area and stone steps leading right to the beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Though it’s unknown exactly how much Jolie is forking over for place as she works out a custody agreement with her estranged husband, luxury rental sites like Airbnb has the place going $3,450 per night. (Did we also mention that there’s a $5,100 security deposit fee on top of that?) Jolis is said to have been renting the place weeks before officially filing for divorce earlier this month.

According to TMZ, who first reported on Jolie’s rental, the actress has even set up a “war room” inside the property for her publicity team to discuss the divorce and work on her post-split image.
