Gavin Rossdale and Jennifer Hudson Named ‘The Voice UK’ Coaches

As his ex-wife Gwen Stefani did before him, Gavin Rossdale will appear on The Voice. (Well, a version of it, at least.)

The Bush rocker is slated to join American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson on the spinning chairs as The Voice UK’s new coaches next season. The Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am, who has been on all five seasons of the singing competition, will stay at his post alongside singer Tom Jones.

I am genuinely overwhelmed at this opportunity and thrilled to be coming back home,” Rossdale tweeted following the announcement.

Rossdale’s ex-wife was a judge on the American edition of the show. After their split in 2015, the No Doubt frontwoman started dating fellow coach Blake Shelton.
