Here Are All the Lies Khloé Kardashian Is Willing to Tell Her Boyfriend
Though Khloé Kardashian is never afraid to speak her mind when it comes to family matters, she does draw the line when it comes to talking about her love life.
According to Kardashian, who is currently dating basketball player Tristan Thompson, it’s sometimes necessary to tell your bae “white lies” to avoid hurting them. Though she maintains that “honesty is always the best policy when it comes to relationships,” the reality star admits there are topics she just tends to stay away from when speaking to her boyfriend.
“There are some scenarios when telling the truth could really hurt someone you’re dating,” she writes on her app, noting that no one should ever hide about how many serious relationships they’ve been in or if they’re seeing more than one person. When it comes to the number of hookups one has had though, Kardashian believes that shouldn’t be broadcasted it to the world.
“I don’t ask this question but I would expect him to tell me if I’m in a room with someone he used to hook up with. I don’t need to know if you’ve slept with 50 people,” she pens. “I’m not going to lie about this one, I just don’t think it’s a necessary conversation.”
“I don’t think I would lie about [my last hookup],” she adds. “I think you should be honest because it’s going to come out somehow.”
As for dealing with your boo thang’s friends and family, Kardashian explains that one should always tell the truth, especially if you’ve slept with someone from their inner circle. However, she recommends waiting for the appropriate time — like hinting to your S.O. about things as opposed to dropping one major truth bomb.
“I think it depends on how close they are. Maybe at first, grin and bear it, but if you guys are married you don’t need to lie about it,” she writes, explaining that how she would handle a situation where she didn’t like her boyfriend’s mother. “You cannot hate his mom! I know guys that are like my mom is fucking crazy, so they might agree with you later. But at first, you gotta lie!”
