WATCH: Kim Kardashian Arrives in New York with Police Escort Following Gunpoint Robbery as Kendall Jenner Leaves Paris
Kardashian, West, Jenner, and Gamble were escorted to their Airbnb penthouse by a caravan of 10 vehicles with the NYPD and 15-20 bodyguards on the scene. Pascal Duvier, Kardashian’s primary bodyguard who was allegedly protecting Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at the time of the robbery, was present for her arrival as well.
TMZ shared the following video of Kim’s arrival to her New York residence:
Kendall, who was rumored to walk in the Chanel fashion show on Tuesday (Oct. 4, 2016), also reportedly left Paris on Monday morning. Photos of the moment when she found out about Kim’s robbery surfaced on E! News.
New reports on the terrifying incident allege that Kim’s daughter, North West, was safe in New York with her nanny and a security guard at a matinee showing of Matilda on Broadway hours before Kardashian was bound, gagged, and robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.
“Kanye wasn’t there,” a source in the audience of Matilda told Page Six, “[Just] two family friends [who were children], a nanny and one security [guard].”
West left the stage of the Meadowlands Arts and Music Festival in New York City on Sunday in the middle of his performance of “Heartless” upon learning of the robbery, citing a “family emergency” as the reason behind his quick departure.
Another report from Page Six suggests that Kardashian and West owned the apartment where the robbery took place “for years” and that it was where Kardashian lodged on the nights leading up to her wedding in 2014. One insider claims that this is the reason why the robbery was “so well planned out.”
Five attackers, wearing ski masks and police garments, broke into Kardashian’s room at 3 a.m. local time on Monday (Oct. 3, 2016). They bound her hands and her feet with tape, locked her in the bathroom, handcuffed, and held her at gunpoint before absconding with an estimated $10 million in jewelry. Kardashian’s publicist said that she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
