WATCH: Solange Knowles Releases Two Music Videos from ‘A Seat at the Table’

Solange Knowles saw you hurting with the end of summer and decided to enliven your spirit with new music videos for songs from her new album, A Seat at the Table.

Knowles released the visuals for “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes In The Sky” on Sunday night (Oct. 2, 2016), which she co-directed with her husband, Alan Ferguson. The video for “Don’t Much My Hair” features Sampha, who also offers his voice on the track.

According to Saint Heron, Knowles’ website, A Seat at the Table is “a musical representation of the spirit within an unapologetically Black woman who is not interested in remaining silent in a critical time of identity, empowerment, grief, healing and self-expression – let alone, artistic expression.”
