Ashton Kutcher Is Now a True Dad After Ripping Pants on Live TV and Accidentally Revealing the Sex of Baby No. 2
Kutcher first showed his stripes (and then some) during a visit with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Wednesday (Oct. 5, 2016). While promoting his latest film Ranch, Kutcher and Fallon exchanged parenting tips that they’ve picked up in raising their daughters. Kutcher admitted that went overboard in preparing for the birth of his first child and feels a bit more relaxed on the second go-around.
“This one, I haven’t done anything. I’m like, ‘Well, we didn’t break the first one,'” said Kutcher. “They’re really durable—that’s what you realize. They don’t break very easily.”
Fallon and Kutcher discussed their households, like their children’s shared affinity for Peppa Pig, and the difficulties that one must go through in order to open the packaging on a new toy.
“You have to have a toolbox just to get it out. We have ruined opening presents for kids,” explained Kutcher. “She opens it and then it takes dad like a half hour to cut the plastic swizzle sticks off and break it. They’ve made everything too safe now.”
But Kutcher took it one step too far when he ripped the crotch of his pants while demonstrating how hard it is to get her daughter Wyatt in a car seat.
“I think I just tore it,” Kutcher recapped after the seam ripped. “I think I had a nut hanging out of my pants.”
The dad tour continued when Kutcher stopped by Today and accidentally revealed the sex of his second child with Kunis. When explaining to Savannah Guthrie that Wyatt understands that Kunis is pregnant, Kutcher said the following:
“She points to Mila and she’s like, ‘baby brother’ when she points to the belly, and then she points to dad and she goes, ‘Beer,’ so I think she gets there’s something in the belly but I don’t quite think that she knows that it’s not going to be a plastic doll yet.”
All Kutcher needs to do to complete the dad trifecta is walk around Costco with his fly down. While we wait for those photos, enjoy his interview with Guthrie in the player below.
