Billy Bush Is Set to Apologize on ‘Today’ Show
Billy Bush is set to appear at his usual time Monday morning to host the Today show. But, there’s a slight twist.
After graphic comments in a conversation between the then Access Hollywood host and Donald Trump resurfaced, Bush plans to offer an apology.
“The plan is for him to have a chance to apologize,” said a representative from NBC.
On Oct. 3, the audio emerged after an Access Hollywood producer discovered it. The footage quickly leaked to The Washington Post, which the story was published on Oct. 7.
Although NBC executives want for Bush to recover from the audio scandal, it has so far managed to have put a bit of a damper on Trump’s campaign.
Despite the petitions that have been made to fire him and negative feedback from the public has taken over social media, he will receive no punishment whatsoever from NBC and will continue his hosting duties on the Today show as normal.
Well, there goes my Billy Bush vote.

On Oct. 7, Bush gave an official statement on his previous comments.
“Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago,” Bush explained. “I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry”
Do you think that Bush came out of this scandal unscathed? Should Bush be more harshly punished?
Stay tuned for more updates on this unraveling scandal and make sure to tune into the Today show tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. to watch Billy Bush issue his apology.
