Gavin Rossdale Is Ready to Move on from Gwen Stefani

Gavin Rossdale is ready to start a new chapter in his life a year after he and Gwen Stefani filed for divorce.

Rossdale described his urge to move on from his marriage in an interview with The Sunday Times.

“It’s like enough already. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on. For me, it’s just thinking about the boys and how to prioritize them,” said Rossdale, explaining that his children with Stefani (Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo) are his biggest motivation. “That’s the driving force behind everything. You just have to…I don’t know. Somehow you have to put one foot after the other and make it happen.”

“I have an incredible life with them, and that’s what matters. You can’t keep up with all the vitriol. Just don’t get into all that.”

Rossdale also offered his opinion on social media. “[I like Twitter] and I want to be active, but it’s a case of not worrying about the miscellaneous 15-year-old from Ohio with an opinion. It doesn’t matter,” he said.

It was announced in September that Rossdale would be joining The Voice U.K. as a coach with will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, and Tom Jones.

“I’m so thrilled to be joining,” he said in a statement following the announcement. “I’ve always been extremely proud to fly the flag for British rock music and I can’t wait to join this incredible panel and help discover some new talent.”
