Kristin Cavallari Shares Her Secrets to Getting in Shape
Kristin Cavallari's post-baby body is looking good.

Family is the most important thing to Kristin Cavallari.

On Thursday Oct. 13, the former reality television star opened up about her late Brother Michael Cavillari’s unfortunate death during a Facebook live stream with Us Weekly.

Last year, her brother had died of hypothermia after being involved in a car crash. He was only 30 years old.

At time, Cavallari knew she had to use her strength to move forward because she had a very important responsibility to focus her energy on: being a good mother to her three children. Her daughter Saylor, who was born a month before Michael’s death, truly helped her during her period of mourning.

“I did at the time, and I still do find a lot of strength in my children, because of the timing of everything,” Cavallari said. “You can’t just stay in bed and feel sorry for yourself. You gotta get up. You have other lives you have to take care of. You have to put food on the table and get them dressed and off to school and everything. So yeah, you can’t just feel sorry for yourself.”

On Dec. 30, Michael was found dead in Grand County, Utah. His body was located within a steep rock-filled area after he crashed his car. Ultimately, the death was considered to be an accident.

The “Laguna Beach” alum’s family held a small funeral this past June for Michael around the time that he would’ve celebrated his 31st birthday.

“My brother’s birthday was June 11, and so my family — my mom, my stepdad, my dad, Jay [Cutler] and I — all went out to Utah where he was found,” she revealed. “We put a little plaque in the rock where he was found and had our own sort of service for him. … It was more of a celebration.”

We are happy to see that Cavallari has managed to stay strong through such a tough time in her life.
