Carrie Underwood Says She and Mike Fisher Are Thinking About Baby No. 2

Carrie Underwood on Meeting Fans
‘They Expect Me to Be ‘Carrie Underwood,’ But I’m Just Carrie. I’m Sorry!'

Last night (Oct. 19, 2016), Carrie Underwood was honored at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards, where she took a moment to reflect on her amazing year.

“The [Storyteller Tour] has been absolutely amazing,” Underwood gushed to ET. “Isaiah’s been there the whole way so [my professional life and personal life are] all colliding. Every day he does something new, so every day is wonderful with him.”

As the tour comes to an end, it’s dawned on Underwood and her NHL husband Mike Fisher that it might be the perfect time for Isaiah to have a little brother or sister. While Underwood admitted that she’d be delighted to have another child, she says they’re in no rush. “It’s all on God’s timing and we just kind of realize we’re not in control and just take things as they come,” she said.

As for when fans can expect new music from the country star, Underwood doesn’t have a date set, but she doesn’t think that they will have to wait long. “I haven’t started writing or anything for it, but I would imagine as soon as the tour wraps up, that will be the next thing on my mind,” she explained.
