Lady Gaga’s Dive Bar Tour Stop in New York Reveals Two Unlikely Fans Following the Release of ‘Joanne’
Lady Gaga’s highly-anticipated fifth studio is finally here.
Joanne is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon (for only $3.99!), and is streaming on Spotify as of Friday (Oct. 21, 2016). “Never has [Gaga] sounded more natural or more in-tune with her messaging, which, as always, is fiercely political even when it’s personal,” Matt Russoniello writes in our review. “Joanne sees her pushing her own boundaries and pushing her voice to new places and strange extremes.”
Gaga brought her Dive Bar Tour to New York City on Thursday night (Oct. 20, 2016) just ahead of the album’s release, with a special guest visit by Mark Ronson, who co-wrote and produced tracks for Joanne. She and her band performed six new songs and dedicated the album’s title track to her dad, mid-song. Watch the live stream here.
Gaga also shared the first episode of her mini-series that documents the creative journey behind her fifth album, Making Joanne. Ronson, BloodPop, and Kevin Parker are featured as they tackle “A-YO.” Watch the video in the player below and launch the gallery at the top of the page to view more photos from the NYC stop of her Dive Bar Tour. Stream Joanne on Spotify or buy it on iTunes.
