Kanye West Will Boycott the Grammys if Frank Ocean Isn’t Nominated

Here's How Kanye West Is Looking Out for His Family After Kim Kardashian's Robbery Ordeal
Kanye West is making sure his family is the main priority these days.

Kanye West once again has beef with the Grammys.

During the Oakland stop of his Saint Pablo tour, West told the audience that he has no plans to attend the 2017 Grammy Awards if Frank Ocean and his album Blonde aren’t nominated for any categories.

West began by telling a story about how Lady Gaga was once asked to perform at the Grammys despite not being nominated for an award. According to the rapper, the organization somehow bent the rules to allow Gaga to perform as well as be nominated. It seems as though West believes Ocean should be extended the same alleged courtesy.

“I’ll tell you this right now, if his album is not nominated in no categories, I’m not showing up to the Grammys,” he told the audience. “As artists, we’ve got to come together to fight the bullshit.”

The rapper’s declaration comes soon after Billboard broke the news that neither Blonde nor Ocean’s visual album Endless were submitted for consideration by Ocean’s label, management, or reps, despite the album being released well within the eligibility timeline.
