WATCH: This Isn’t Your Average Concert Video of Justin Bieber Walking Off Stage
The relationship between Justin Bieber and his fans could be labeled as “It’s Complicated” right now.
In the past week alone, Bieber scolded his “obnoxious” fans for screaming at his concerts and for interrupting his train of thought while discussing his Purpose in life. Sunday is still a day that ends in the letter “y,” so his concert in Manchester wasn’t any different. He unsuccessfully asked his audience to quiet down in between songs. “I appreciate all the support, I appreciate love I appreciate the kind things,” said Bieber on Oct. 23. “But the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you. I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming.”
He reached a breaking point when his request wasn’t fulfilled and, before walking offstage, he went above and beyond the mic-dropping standards by flinging his own across the walkway.

He came back onstage to explain his departure, though. “I wanna connect with you, you know? My point of the ‘no screaming’ thing is that when I’m looking at you in the eyes, you can actually know that we’re having a moment and having a connection, right?” said Bieber. “So it’s not me trying to be an asshole, it’s simply me wanting to have a moment.”
Remember when he flew offstage at the MTV VMAs? Yeah, that was a nice moment, too.
