Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Officially Sell New Orleans Home Amid Divorce

As Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt proceed with their divorce, the estranged couple sold their mansion in New Orlean’s French Quarter for $4.9 million.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two bought the house in 2007 for $3.5 million in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

Around that time, Pitt also created the Make It Right Foundation, a charitable organization that helped to boost real estate development specifically in the city’s Lower 9th Ward.

The beautifully maintained 1830s estate is three stories and over 7,500-square-feet, with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. Listing agent Nina Killeen confirmed the sale, telling THR, “It sold for a very fair price. It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome.”

Since Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September, the couple put both their L.A. home and their chateau and vineyward in France up for sale.
