To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s seminal album Back to Black, Island Records music producer Salaam Remi announced a covers contest, in which fans can sing covers of Winehouse’s songs for a chance to record it professionally in a studio with Remi.

Contestants can download original instrumentals for “Back to Black,” “Rehab,” “Tears Dry on Their Own,” and “Just Friends” [here], upload their renditions, and Remi will pick the best entry. The winner will have their song premiere on Island Records’ YouTube channel.

Remi explains the contest below:

According to Pitchfork, Island Records and Vevo will also donate all the funds from the Back to Black covers campaign to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, the charity created in Winehouse’s memory to help young people who are facing issues with homelessness, addiction, mental health, and more.

Winehouse died tragically of accidental alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27.
