Amy Schumer is living large these days.
The Trainwreck star just nabbed a gorgeous five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom penthouse in the heart of New York City for a whopping $12.15 million. According to TMZ, Schumer recently closed the deal on the luxury pad, which was initially listed for $18.9 million.
Sitting atop an 11-story building, the sprawling residence features a sun-drenched living room with a glass fireplace, a sky-lit dining area, a sleek and modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and stone counters, and a breathtaking master suite complete with its own walk-in closet, double vanity and steam shower.
If that’s not enough living space, there are also four bedrooms — each with its own en-suite — that are connected together through an outdoor terrace that wraps around the entire apartment. The property’s listing also boasts a beautifully crafted set of wooden spiral steps that act as a “dramatic staircase to the sky.”
Schumer’s new swanky abode, which will undoubtedly have enough room for boyfriend and furniture designer Ben Hanisch‘s creations, is definitely a far cry from her last digs: a one-bedroom, one bathroom-and-a-half bathroom unit in a 1980s townhouse. The quaint little home has been on the market since 2015.
