Sources close to Jolie tell TMZ that she is asking for primary custody of their children until Pitt “gets his s**t together,” despite his request for joint custody that was filed on Friday (Nov. 4, 2016). The settlement that she seeks reflects the temporary terms that she and Pitt initially agreed to while the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services carries out the investigation of Pitt’s confrontation with Maddox aboard their private plane, which has been broadened to include more of Pitt’s interactions with his family.
Jolie’s source tells the tabloid that she ultimately wants the family to be repaired so that they can return to a “normal” parenting arrangement, but will pursue sole physical custody of their children until then. She believes that Pitt’s alleged substance abuse and anger issues need to be addressed before they can move forward.
