Beyoncé Shares Behind-the-Scenes Photos from Solange’s ‘SNL’ Performance

Like a good older sister, Beyoncé went all out for Solange’s talent show.

Next to Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon’s emancipation from their roles as Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Solange’s powerful performances of “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair” from her latest album A Seat at the Table were the highlights of Saturday Night Live on Nov. 5. Outfitted in two white ensembles — one two-piece pantsuit and one two-piece bustier combo draped with embellished netting — Solange was joined on stage by her ethereal dancers and, later, Sampha for “Don’t Touch My Hair.” Watch “Cranes in the Sky” above and “Don’t Touch My Hair” below.

Her sister Beyoncé shared photos of herself, Jay Z, Solange, their mother Tina Lawson, Solange’s husband Alan Ferguson, and their son on Saturday Night Live’s historic stage.

Beyoncé and her mother even proceeded to pick up Solange, proving that mother-daughter acts of embarrassment do not stop after you turn 30.

Solange’s A Seat at the Table is available for purchase on iTunes via Columbia Records.
