Khloé Kardashian Shares Her Favorite Restaurants and Advice That Keeps Her Inspired
Khloé Kardashian is a favorite among fans of her family for loads of reasons: her confidence, her one-liners, and her unabashed love of food. In a new post on her personal site, the 32-year-old star decided to let her fandom in on the restaurants (and dishes) that have made the short list.
First is the Mexican restaurant Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, a suburb of L.A., where the youngest Kardashian sister nabs the Tostada Chiquita, a spicy dish loaded with beef chorizo, beans, beats, tomatoes, parmesan, lettuce and the restaurant’s signature Mexican vinaigrette.
Another of Khloé’s favorites is the fried chicken at Craig’s, a historic West Hollywood hotspot. But here’s the thing, it’s not just fried chicken. It’s fried chicken doused in truffle honey!
“My Aunty Shelli was at dinner with us and she made me try it,” Khloé wrote. “I didn’t eat the whole thing but it’s the best chicken ever. I won’t go back there now because it’s so good and I don’t trust myself, LOL.”
Khloé may cheat on her diet, but she has some mantras that help her get back on track when the calories start piling up or getting a workout sounds like a chore.
“Portion control!” she wrote in another post. “When I have a serious craving, I remind myself to exercise portion control! I normally give myself what I crave, though—I just do it in moderation.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also revealed something she tells herself to help summon the energy to get some exercise in the wee hours of the morning: “It can be really hard to get to the gym early in the morning. I wake up around 5 AM every day to workout, so I always tell myself, ‘You never regret a workout, but you always regret not going.'”
Khloé and her sis Kourtney were spotted out shopping over the weekend, giving the blonde bombshell another opportunity to show off her crazy-fit bod. Check out their trip in the gallery above!
