Waiting with bated breath for Eddie Redmayne to start trekking around in search of magical critters in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them? Well, new and exciting news has emerged for the forthcoming spinoff franchise. Director David Yates revealed in a new interview that a certain Headmaster from Hogwarts is going to appear in the sequel!

In the second movie Dumbledore comes back,” Yates told Screen Rant. “He’s got a couple of good scenes with Newt.” Naturally, he’s referring to Redmayne’s character, an illustrious magizoologist tasked with rounding up a slew of beasties.

Although Yates wouldn’t reveal any more about the beloved wizard’s role in this new story, he did share that they are currently hard at work looking for a young Albus.

“We’re discussing who would play Dumbledore, any suggestions would be good,” he said.
