Tom Brady Isn’t Voting for Donald Trump, Says Gisele Bündchen
It’s a case of “he says, she says” when it comes to the matter of Tom Brady’s ballot for the 2016 presidential election.
On Monday (Nov. 7, 2016), Republican candidate Donald Trump boasted to his supporters that the New England Patriots quarterback personally phoned him to say that he’ll be voting for the businessman-turned-politician come Election Day. Calling Brady a “great friend of mine,” Trump declared at one of his final rallies that the NFL star is on his side.
“He called today and he said, ‘Donald, I support you my friend, and I voted for you,’” Trump claimed, adding that Brady gave his blessing to reveal his so-called endorsement. “He said, ‘If you want to say it, you can say it.’”
However, Gisele Bündchen, who has been married to Brady since 2009, was singing another tune. When a fan questioned the model about her husband’s endorsement for Trump, Bündchen gave a definitive response of a big fat “NO!”

Though Brady himself has yet to respond Trump’s claims, the three-time Super Bowl champion did actually vote. According to Brookline, Mass., officials, Brady voted via absentee ballot earlier this week.

In September 2015, Brady made headlines when he declared that it would be “great” if Trump were to become the next president.
“I hope so,” he told reporters when asked if Trump, who he often plays gold with, can win the election. “There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that.”
