WATCH: Dave Chappelle Is Ready to Make His ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut
After almost 10 years out of the spotlight, Dave Chappelle is ready to return in a big way.
The comedian is set to host this week’s Saturday Night Live and — from the looks of the promo for his appearance on the sketch comedy show — he’s ready to make his debut.
Unlike past previews where the host riffs with the members of the SNL cast, Chappelle’s teaser shows him walking through the eerily empty NBC Studios at New York City’s 30 Rock. As he makes his way to the stage, the intro to “Can I Kick It?” by A Tribe Called Quest, who will act as the musical guest on Saturday, is heard playing in the background.
Given that Chappelle’s appearance comes hot on the heels of the 2016 presidential election results and the funnyman hasn’t been kind to its candidates, the world is waiting with bated breath to see what he’ll say about its outcome and his thoughts on our new POTUS-elect, Donald Trump.
Chappelle’s appearance on Saturday Night Live airs Nov. 12 on NBC.
