Lauren Conrad: It's 'Hard' to Watch 'The Hills' Again
Lauren Conrad, is finally ready to revisit all the drama

Reality star Lauren Conrad will share her plans for the holidays in the upcoming December issue of Good Housekeeping, including her newfound tradition and her must-have accessories.

Conrad tells the magazine that when she and her husband William Tell first moved in together, she had to learn to compromise. She says her apartment at the time was “very girly.” Now, their home is a blend of both their tastes. “I think he’s toned down my girly a little bit, which is good because I’m an adult and everything can’t be pink,” she said.

Conrad also shared a tip for keeping costs down when you have a lot of holiday parties to attend. “Buying a new outfit for every party can get costly,” she said. “I like having fun with accessories instead.” Conrad recommends a spicing up a simple black dress with an embellished jacket, a statement necklace, or fun heels.

That doesn’t mean she doesn’t splurge on cute holiday outfits once in a while. Check out these two images from the story. The first features Conrad in a French Connection dress and Bella Badgley Mischka heels standing by a fully-decorated Christmas tree.

And the second features Conrad next to a lavishly-decorated holiday table in a Disney’s Snow White top by LC Lauren, a Morning Lavender Skirt, Spiga heels and a ring from Stella Dot.

You won’t find her dressed up that way on Christmas morning, though. Conrad mentioned her new holiday tradition in which she and Tell visit his family in matching pajamas. “It’s really sweet,” she said.
