Gigi Hadid Discusses Being Serenaded by Shirtless Zayn Malik

Gigi Hadid: We Have to Give Donald Trump a Chance

Gigi Hadid can add yet another magazine cover to her never-ending list, already becoming as much a staple in grocery store checkout aisles as gum and discounted DVDs. She appears in next month’s issue of Allure, offering the camera an eyeful while getting undressed in the racy images. In the shoot’s accompanying interview, Gigi chatted about her rise to stardom and what runs through her mind when her boyfriend Zayn Malik sings for her.

Yeah, that’s not hard to look at,” she cooed when asked what’s like to be serenaded by the shirtless, former 1D member. “I’ll never complain about that.”

The 21-year-old bombshell also explained her effortless technique when it comes to managing social media as a supermodel.

“I wish I had a strategy to [social media],” she continued. “I could write a book and make millions. But I never feel like I’m working when I’m doing social media. I guess I succeeded at it because it came naturally.”

Another thing that came naturally for Hadid was her passion for photography and modeling. At age six she was already modeling and examining photos carefully.

“I was obsessed with photographers and where models were supposed to fit in. Obviously, I’m not taking iconic pictures as a six-year-old, but I studied models as part of an image, not just as a model, if that makes sense.”

Perhaps reflecting on this turbulent election season or the brutal nature of social media, Hadid also attempted to explain why she strives to do good and not enable the negativity that runs rampant online.

I always want to prove myself and to let people know I’m a good person,” she shared. “A lot of people don’t realize they’re typing this stuff, and that’s a lot of negative energy—regardless of whether we see it or not. People just don’t realize the power of their judgment.”
