Despite previous claims that Pitt had manhandled his son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, aboard a flight from France to the United States, FFA records from the Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center did not contain any findings that a physical altercation had occurred. According to Radar Online, audio recordings only showed that the family had a bumpy flight caused by turbulence.
At the time, Pitt was accused of assaulting one of his six children during the flight, sparking an investigation from Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services over claims of child abuse. The alleged incident was reportedly what pushed Jolie to file for divorce in September and seek sole physical custody of all her children with Pitt.
Following a month-long investigation, Pitt was cleared of any wrongdoings.
Recent rumors suggest that Pitt is now planning to wage a legal battle for joint custody of their kids. Sources close to the family are also claiming that both Pitt and Jolie are holding incriminating evidence against each other that might jeopardize their respective custody request.
Currently, the couple has worked out a temporary parenting plan in which their children — Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, Vivienne, and Maddox — will live with Jolie and only see their father during monitored therapy sessions.
