Leonard Cohen’s Manager Reveals the Singer Died in His Sleep After Fall
New details about the untimely death of Canadian singer Leonard Cohen have begun to emerge.
In a statement released by Cohen’s manager, Robert B. Kory, he reveals the singer passed away in his sleep after falling down in his home in the middle of the night. The statement also revealed Cohen died on November 7, 2016, three days before his death was made public.
“The death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful,” Kroy’s statement reads.
Sony Music Canada confirmed Cohen’s death last week on his official Facebook page writing, “It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter, and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away. We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries.”
