The ‘Gilmore Girls’ Cast Reveals Why Fans Will Always Love the Show

‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival: Luke Was Originally a Woman
It’s hard to imagine Gilmore Girls without Scott Patterson.

The Gilmore Girls cast reflected on what makes the show so great and why fans will always love it.

“We could never have predicted we’d be here doing it again and that’s because generations have continued to find it, so one of the cool things about going back to do it for Netflix was people were excited already,” Lauren Graham, who plays Lorelai Gilmore, said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“This is going to be one of those shows that people continue to find and continue to enjoy over time. I had no perspective of that at the time,” the actress added.

“I think the show is timeless,” Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Jess, said. “I think the way that Amy Sherman-Palladino had been able to capture this town and these women and these characters, it was something that was elegant that’s going to last through centuries.”

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuts on Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25.
