Naya Rivera Opens Up About Taking on Motherhood in a New Interview
Naya Rivera recently sat down with VVV Magazine to talk about motherhood.

After just two years of marriage, Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey have decided to call it quits.

TMZ reports Rivera filed for divorce last week and is asking for primary physical custody of their one-year-old son Josey with visitation rights for Dorsey. Dorsey has yet to respond to the filing, and Rivera is keeping tight-lipped on the reason behind their split.

Rivera and Dorsey tied the knot just two years ago in a quickie Mexican wedding just months after the actress called off her engagement with Big Sean. Earlier this year, Rivera explained that her wedding to Dorsey wasn’t as unexpected as it seemed because the couple dated before Rivera got cast on Glee“It was good to tell our story and put the truth out there,” Rivera told People. “We’ve been married now two years and have a gorgeous son and it feels good to let everyone know what really happened.”

Rivera and Dorsey released a statement confirming their divorce: “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”
