Paris Hilton Insists She’s Never Had Plastic Surgery
Though many in Hollywood have went under the knife for a tiny nip here and a small tuck there, Paris Hilton prefers to stay away from plastic surgery. In fact, the hotel heiress claims that she’s never even had Botox.
“I’m very proud that I am all natural and have never had anything done,” she tells Galore, in which she graces the cover of its latest issue. “I am very happy with myself. But I don’t judge others. People should do whatever makes them feel happy. It’s just not something I’ve ever wanted to do.”
So, what’s her secret to looking and staying young?
“My friends used to always lay out in the sun, and my mom would be like, ‘Don’t do that. You’re going to ruin your skin.’ I listened to her and I’m so glad I did,” the 35-year-old dishes.
Hilton, who rose to fame with her reality series The Simple Life from the early-2000s, insists that she’s more than just a pretty face. As her brand continues to grow — her 21 fragrances have made over $3 billion in sales! — and she tours the world as a businesswoman and DJ, Hilton feels “happy to be an inspiration to people.”
“If someone hasn’t met me yet, they automatically have their misconceptions about me. As soon as I am in a board room in front of them talking about my business, they immediately know I’m not the dumb blonde they thought I was,” she assures. “I’ve worked very hard and done all of this on my own. Plus, there are tons of other people in my position from privileged families who don’t do anything. I’m very blessed that my family instilled great work ethic and values in me. I didn’t have to work, I chose to, because I would never have been happy being just another trust fund kid who does nothing.”
“I feel so blessed and lucky that I get to do so many things that I love and am passionate about. Success is something that fulfills me in life and I want to continue expanding and growing my brand for many years to come,” she continues. “I am all about girl power and women being fierce and independent. So it’s nice to see women following my lead and doing things on their own instead of just depending on a man.”
As for surviving the spotlight, Hilton feels like she’s a veteran in the industry and knows how to spot fake people from a mile away. After all, she’s even had her own reality show about finding a best friend.
“Over the years I have definitely figured out all the signs of a hungry tiger. I can mostly tell when there are paparazzi and I can see the way a person like that reacts. Also, being in this business for so long it’s pretty obvious what people’s intentions are,” she shares. “I would tell my teenage self to not be so trusting of others. ‘Cause most people, especially in this town, don’t have true intentions.”
She adds, “I don’t believe in revenge but I do think the best revenge is massive success.”
