She and Chmerkovskiy scored a perfect 40 of 40 on their last dance of the competition, a fusion foxtrot/Argentine tango that was also the last overall dance of the night.
Runner ups were IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and ex-Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson.
As the youngest competitor ever on the show, Hernandez was a clear favorite throughout the competition, and was praised by the judges for her incredible learning capacity and skills. In fact, she will actually be joining the Dancing with the Stars tour that will be staged in a few months.
