‘Gilmore Girls’ Cast and Creator Say More Episodes Might Be on the Way

‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival: Luke Was Originally a Woman
It’s hard to imagine Gilmore Girls without Scott Patterson.

The Gilmore Girls creator said that more episodes of the Netflix revival could be on the way.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life may have come and gone, but Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed that more episodes of the show are definitely a possibility. Especially after that bombshell ending that left viewers wanting so much more.

“We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey,” said Sherman-Palladino to The Hollywood Reporter. “So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do. And the whole thought about, is there more, is there more, is there more — this has to go out into the universe now. We’ve got to put this to bed and then whatever happens, happens.”

Scott Patterson, who plays the lovable Luke Danes, also had a few things to say on the matter.”It’d be nice to do it every year. Maybe every two years, do a three-month thing, do four more chapters. It was easy to do. It was fun. It was really rewarding and people got a sense that if this was going to be the last thing that we now have some closure.”

For those of you that watched the revival, we can all agree that there is both closure and opportunity in the ending. However, who doesn’t want to see what Rory’s baby looks like.
