Selena Gomez and Her Self-Help Book Lead Today’s Star Sightings
What Selena Gomez is currently reading may tell you a thing or two about how she’s feeling these days.
Following her stint in rehab to focus on her mental health, the “Same Old Love” singer was spotted back in Los Angeles with a helpful book in hand on Monday (Nov. 28, 2016). Carrying a copy of Arianna Huffington’s On Becoming Fearless…in Love, Work, and Life, Gomez looked to be in good spirits as she made her way through the terminal after getting off a flight from Dallas, Texas.
The 24-year-old, who recently made her first public appearance since taking time off to deal with her struggles with depression and anxiety, was all-smiles as she took time to chat and take selfies with fans.

As previously reported, Gomez canceled the remaining dates of her Revival World Tour this August to cope with the psychological side effects of lupus. After checking into a treatment center outside of Nashville, she made a return to the stage at this year’s American Music Awards to deliver a heartfelt speech about her decision to seek treatment.
“In 2014, this stage was the first time that I was authentically 100 percent honest with all of you,” she said. “I had to stop ’cause I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside. And I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to let me down.”
“I’m not trying to get validation nor do I need it anymore,” she added. “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken.”
