Kanye West’s ‘Nervous Breakdown’ Reportedly Triggered by the Anniversary of His Mother’s Funeral

Kanye West Was Reportedly Suffering from ‘Severe Paranoia’ and ‘Hallucinations’ Before Going to the Hospital
Insiders are coming forward attempting to explain how the hitmaker arrived in such a dire state

Kanye West remains hospitalized after having suffered from an alleged “nervous breakdown” last Monday (Nov. 21, 2016). New reports finally reveal what might have pushed West over the edge.

Sources close to the rapper tell TMZ that the anniversary of West’s mother Donda West’s funeral on Nov. 20 was what took the final toll on his fragile state of mental health before he snapped. West canceled his November 20th show hours before he was supposed to take the stage before he canceled the remainder of the Saint Pablo Tour the next day. Before his hospitalization, West was already suffering from paranoia and extreme sleep deprivation, which was coupled with the pressures of running his businesses, parenting and supporting his wife Kim Kardashian following her Paris robbery.

Insiders say the rapper was barely holding it together, but he lost it once he was faced with the heartbreaking anniversary of his mother’s death. West has reportedly never effectively dealt with his mother’s death and always has a hard time every November.

While West is getting the best help money can buy, Kardashian has become increasingly worried about her husband as doctors continue to advise her to let him remain under medical observationPeople reports that Kardashian has not let their children, North and Saint West, visit the hospital as she is concerned about West’s behavior around the children. “She is very worried about the kids being around Kanye,” a source revealed.

North and Saint are currently staying with their grandmother Kris Jenner so that Kardashian can remain by West’s side. “Kim does spend hours with Kanye every day. She says that Kanye is on many different medications and that his doctors are figuring out proper doses,” the insider continued. “Kim says that not much has changed since he was admitted and that his doctors seem concerned.”
