Here’s How Matthew McConaughey Made Sure College Students Got Home Alright

Matthew McConaughey to Teach Film Class
Professor McConaughey has a definite ring to it.

Matthew McConaughey took time out of his busy schedule to give some college students a ride home.

After watching a football game at the University of Texas, the actor hung around campus to give students a free ride. However, it wasn’t just a random act of kindness; he got behind the wheel to participate in the university’s SURE Walk program, which offers free rides to students heading home after a late night.

There’s even a photo of McConaughey behind the wheel of a golf cart as students sit excitedly while they wait for the Oscar-winner to drive them home from school.

The Texas native, who graduated from the college in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Film, also recently signed on to teach a film class.
