Joe Biden Plans to Challenge Donald Trump for Presidency in 2020
Joe Biden revealed his plans to run for president in the 2020 election.
The current Vice President said he isn’t ruling out the idea of running against Donald Trump in four years. “Yeah, I am. I’m going to run in 2020,” he told reporters on Monday (Dec. 5, 2016). So when CNN asked which position he plans to run for, Biden answered, “For president. What the hell, man.”
Note that Biden, who will turn 78 in 2020, reportedly had a smile on his face when he spoke. When reporters asked him if he was serious, he said, “Yeah, I am. We’re going to run again.”
Biden, who ran for president in 1988 and 2008, considered running for the White House in this year’s election but decided against it because he was still dealing with the death of son Beau. “I’m not committing not to run. I’m not committing to anything,” he later told reporters. “I learned a long time ago, fate has a strange way of intervening.”
Imagine all the memes we’ll get to enjoy if he does run…
