Mick Jagger Is a New Dad Again, for the Eighth Time
The 73-year-old Rolling Stones frontman’s child with Hamrick, an American ballerina, is his eighth child. He is already a father to four daughters, Karis, Georgia May, Jude and Elizabeth, and three sons, James, Lucas, and Gabriel, from previous relationships.
Entertainment Tonight reports:
“Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger’s son was born today in New York and they are both delighted,” a rep for Jagger tells ET. “Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
ET spoke to Jagger at the opening of a Rolling Stone exhibit in NYC in November, when he called becoming a dad at 73 “very nice.”In addition to his eight children, the legendary rocker also has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, whom he welcomed in May 2014.
