WATCH: First ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Trailer Shows that Even Superheroes Are Awkward in High School
Peter Parker has his plate full with extracurricular activities.
The first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (Dec. 8, 2016), shows that Parker (Tom Holland) is a busy high school student. He’s battling local criminals, the Vulture, and his emotions as he daydreams about his enchanting classmate (Laura Harrier) from afar.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) makes an appearance in the trailer as well to offer Parker some superhero advice: “Don’t do anything I would do. And definitely don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. There’s a little gray area in there, and that’s where you operate.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming presents an in-depth look at Holland’s interpretation of Spider-Man from Captain America: Civil War. The film also stars Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Donald Glover and more. Catch it when it hits theaters on July 7, 2017. Watch the trailer at the top of the page.
