Kim Kardashian Makes Rare Appearance at a Christmas Party as New Details About Kanye West’s Mental State Surface

How Kim Kardashian Feels About Kanye West Meeting with Donald Trump
This morning, Kanye West paid a visit to Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan to meet with President-elect Donald Trump

Kim Kardashian is gearing up for her comeback and the first step was returning to the Hollywood party scene.

Last night (Dec. 14, 2016), Kardashian stepped out for Shelli Azoff’s Christmas party at The Forum in Los Angeles. Kardashian kept a low profile, wearing a Yeezy sweatshirt, minimal makeup, and sleek hair to the event, but she did pose for a few selfies.

Kris Jenner also joined in on the festivities, getting into the Christmas spirit wearing a holiday light necklace.

Noticeably missing was Kardashian’s husband Kanye West, who just made his way back to L.A. after meeting with Donald Trump in NYC. The NYC trip was West’s first major public appearance since being hospitalized after suffering a very public breakdown and while West seems to be getting the help he needs, sources close to the rapper say he’s been having trouble for months now.

Sources close to the couple tell People West has been having issues emotionally ever since Kardashian’s October robbery. “The pressure had gotten to him and he didn’t handle it well,” the source said. “He made himself exhausted. But [the exhaustion] was a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself.”

The insider continued, saying many people close to West were concerned after they noticed some troubling behavior. “When Kanye gets like this, he doesn’t sleep. So you’d wake up to like 20 texts. The more tired he got from not sleeping, the less sense he was making. He wasn’t in a good head space.”

Despite the allegedly minor rift in their relationship caused by his trip to Trump Towers, West is said to be committed to his wife and kids more than ever before. “Kanye loves Kim very much, and he adores the kids,” the insider said. “He would take a bullet for them. They’re his whole world. If [the family] can get through this, they’ll be so much stronger. I want them to be happy, and I think they will be happier together than they would be apart.”
